Magnus Andersen is a photographer and director based in Stockholm with Icelandic/Norwegian roots. After assisting several top fashion and advertising photographers in London and Stockholm, he began his career focusing on lifestyle and fashion photography. His work includes both still images and films, producing powerful and unique visuals that capture the essence of his subjects.
With a passion for music, he frequently collaborates with musicians, capturing images and directing music videos. Growing up in Iceland, he established himself as a prominent figure in the Icelandic music scene, having photographed many of the country's most notable musicians. He has directed music videos for artists such as Vök, Axel Flóvent, JFDR, Pascal Pinon, and Hatari, and his short film "Honor Above All" premiered at RIFF in the fall of 2019.
